The levels, the plants, and the path that grew

KoriI'm a software engineer and founder of Walkflow.

Walkflow lets landscapers walk a yard once and leave with a materials takeoff, quote items, and a client update. You talk through levels, drainage, and what stays. Each line links back to the photo or the moment you said it, so the client can see the corner you meant.

Yards change in conversation

A landscape job grows at the back fence. The path gets wider. The sleeper wall becomes two courses. You said it while you were looking at the fall of the ground. The photo later is just lawn.

A client update written that night has to invent the order. The materials list misses the drainage you mentioned once.

What to walk

Start at the street and finish at the back. Say what is included, what you will not do, and the materials you named. Snapshot the fall, the existing trees, and the access for machinery.

Walkflow drafts:

  • A materials takeoff for the trade counter
  • Quote items as labour and material lines, not a finished total
  • A client update in plain English, ready to send with the link

You edit the draft. CompanyCam can still be where the progress photos live. The walk and the lines are what Walkflow is for. See Walkflow vs CompanyCam.

Send one link, with no client login, the same way as how to send a client a video walkthrough. If the job is really a list of lines, the bathroom example in how to write quote items shows the shape, and the quote items template is the blank.
