The job card, and the walk that feeds it
ServiceM8 runs the job: scheduling, invoicing, and photos or video on the job card. Walkflow is the site walk. You record with video, photos, and your voice, and Walkflow drafts quote items, a scope of work, and a materials takeoff, each line linked to the moment you said it.
Two different jobs
ServiceM8 is job management. The job card, the visit, and the invoice live there. Video on that card shows what the camera saw.
Walkflow does not schedule the crew or send the invoice. It takes the walk and writes a first draft of the documents. You edit the draft. A line can open the photo or the words from that moment, which a file attached to a job card does not do by itself.
Use both if you want. Walk the job in Walkflow. Keep the job and the invoice in ServiceM8.

Check ServiceM8's own site for its current features. This table describes what each tool is built around.
Where each fits
- First visit to a new job. Walk it in Walkflow. The scope of work and quote items come from the recording.
- Booking the work and sending the invoice. That is what ServiceM8 is for.
- A change on site. Record the walk, then write it up with the variation record template or a Walkflow draft.
- A quote that needs to be explainable later. Lines that open the photo or the words behind them are easier to defend than a number on a job card.
What you still say out loud
The draft is only as good as the walk. Say the labour, the materials, and what is out of scope. Painters do this room by room; see the site walkthrough app for painters. A bathroom is the same habit in how to write quote items for a bathroom reno.
The client link needs no login. That flow is how to send a client a video walkthrough. Walkflow's prices are in Australian dollars on the pricing page. This page does not state a ServiceM8 price.
Common questions
Do I need ServiceM8 to use Walkflow?
No. Walkflow works on its own. You can also use it beside ServiceM8 and keep the job and the invoice there.
Does Walkflow schedule jobs or send invoices?
No. It drafts documents like a scope of work and quote items for you to edit and send.
Do clients need an account to see a walkthrough?
No. You send one link and they open it. You can see when they have.
